Tiger Woods won his 70th career PGA tour event last weekend by winning the 2009 WGC - Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. Do you want to know what Tiger was carrying in his golf bag during the win?
Driver: Nike SQ Dymo 380 prototype (10.5 degrees with Mitsubishi Diamana Whiteboard 83x shaft)

Putter: Scotty Cameron by Titleist Newport 2
Ball: Nike One Tour
Tiger played very well during the first 3 days, but played almost flawlessly on Sunday. Padraig Harrington had a 3-shot lead going into Sunday, but Tiger erased that lead by the 4th hole with an eagle and birdie.
The match was very tight until they came to the par 5 667-yard 16th hole where both Tiger and Padraig were put on the clock. Harrington had a 1-shot lead, but missed his drive to the right and hit a poor punch shot that left him with a difficult 3rd shot into the green. Tiger missed the fairway to the left and had to punch out. Tiger hit his approach shot with an 8-iron 182 yards to within a foot. Padraig hit his approach shot over the green, which left him with a very difficult downhill flop shot out of some deep rough. Harrington feeling a bit hurried because of being on the clock hit his flop into the water and ended up carding a triple-bogey 8. Tiger carded a birdie 4 and took a 3-shot lead and the tournament was over.
On 18, Tiger made a comment to Padriag saying that he was sorry that the PGA official put them on the clock. Tigers' comment stirred up some controversy about the PGA officials ruling on 16. With Tiger and Padraig being the last group on the course and battling it out... should they have been put on the clock? A lot of people say no because it affected the outcome of the tournament.

What's In Tiger Woods' Golf Bag - 2008 Arnold Palmer
Tiger Woods won his 64th career PGA tour event last weekend by winning the 2008 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, Florida. Do you want to know what Sean was carrying in his golf bag during the win?
Driver: Nike SQ Tour 7.5°

SW: Pro Combo 56°
LW: SV Tour 60°

Tiger's win ties him with the great Ben Hogan on the all-time winning list. He's now chasing Jack Nicklaus with 73 wins and then Sam Snead with 82 wins.
Tiger started off the tournament with some control problems, but managed to get things back on track on Friday with a 2-under 68 in very windy conditions. He shot a 66 on Saturday to put him in a 5-way tie for first and in the last group with Sean O'Hair, who had won the PODS Championship the week before. O'Hair got into the last group by shooting a 7-under 63.
Tiger looked solid all day Sunday except for a 3-putt from 5 feet. Going into 18 Tiger was tied with Bart Bryant at 9-under. Woods hit his 3-wood down the left side of the fairway to open up his approach shot to the green. His approach shot from 167 yards landed pin high about 24 feet left of the pin. He had a downhill left to right putt to negotiate a tie or a win. Long story short Tiger drained the 24-footer for his 6th consecutive win and he left everyone in sheer disbelief that he did it again.
Tiger took home $1,044,000 for the win and added 25,000 points to his first place point total in the race for the FedEx Cup. All I can say is amazing! Tiger truly is immortal among the golfing world.

What's In Rory Sabbatini's Golf Bag? - Colonial
Rory Sabbatini won the 2007 Crowne Plaza Invitations at Colonial this last weekend at Colonial Country Club Ft. Worth, Texas. Do you want to know what he was carrying in his golf bag during his win?
Driver: Nike SasQuatch Sumo
3 Wood: Nike SasQuatch 2 15°
Hybrid: Adams Idea a2 18°
Irons: (3-PW) Nike Ignite Irons
SW: Nike SV 55°
LW: Nike SV Tour 60°

Sunday's round started with Rory Sabbatini, Jim Furyk, and Bernhard Langer tied at 11-under. All three of them finished tied at 14-under shooting a 3-under 67, which sent the tournament into a sudden death playoff.
The first playoff hole was on the 18th and all 3 of them found the middle of the fairway off the tee. Bernhard put is shot about 10 feet away and Rory was about 13 feet way.
Furyk rolled his 40-foot put for birdie just by the whole. Rory was next to putt and he drained it with a finish ala Jack Nicklaus with his left arm raised putter in hand. Bernhard had a chance to tie with his 10-footer, but it lipped out and Rory was crowned the winner. Rory took home $1.08 for the win.

What's In Tiger's Golf Bag - Wachovia
Tiger Woods added the Wachovia Championship at Quail Hollow Club Charlotte, North Carolina to his growing collection of trophies by shooting a closing round of 69, which included a 57-foot eagle putt. Do you want to know what he was carrying in his golf bag during his win?
Driver: Nike SasQuatch Tour 8.5°
3 Wood: Nike SasQuatch 2 15°
5 Wood: Nike Ignite T40 19°
Irons: (3-PW) Nike Blades
SW: Nike Pro Combo 56°
LW: Nike SV 60°
Putter: Scotty Cameron by Titleist prototype
Ball: Nike One Platinum
Tiger tore up the front nine on Sunday going out in 31, but had a very shaky back-nine that included a several bogies and a double-bogey. This probably would have made a difference if the other golfers chasing him didn't blow up as well on the back nine. Tiger made a great par on 18 to win by two shots at 13-under. Steve Stricker had going early in the round, but faultered a little and finished at 11-under. Tiger took home $1,134,000 for the win.

What's In Tiger's Golf Bag?
Tiger Woods wins his opening tournament for 2007 at the Buick Invitational. It was played at Torrey Pines Golf Course where Tiger seems to win quite a bit. Do you want to know what he was carrying in his golf bag during his win?
Driver: Nike SasQuatch Tour 8.5°
3 Wood: Nike SasQuatch 2 15°
5 Wood: Nike Ignite T40 19°
Irons: (3-PW) Nike Blades
SW: Nike Pro Combo 56°
LW: Nike TW 60°
Putter: Scotty Cameron by Titleist Studio Stainless Newport 2
Ball: Nike One Platinum
This was Tiger's 3rd Buick Invitational in a row and 5th overall. It also continued his winning streak to 7 tournaments, which is now 2nd best in golf history to golf legend Byron Nelson's 11 in a row. Torrey Pines Golf Course will be host to the 2008 US Open Championship.
Tiger needed his 'A' game on Sunday because there were a lot of golfers within 1 or 2 strokes of he lead going into the back 9. Charles Howell III gave Tiger a run for his money in the last 4 holes, which forced Tiger to take his game to the Tiger level. Tiger finished with a round of 6 under 66 to win by 2 strokes over Charles Howell III, and 3 shots of rookie sensation Brandt Snedeker. Not that Tiger needs the money, but he took home $918,000 for the win.

What's In Tiger's Golf Bag?
As everyone probably knows already, Tiger Wood's captured 5th victory in a row on the PGA Tour. Do you want to know what was in Tiger Wood's golf bag during his win at the 2006 Deutsche Bank Championship?
Driver: Nike SasQuatch 460 Tour 8.5* Driver
Irons: Nike Forged Blades (3-PW) Irons
Wedges: Nike TW (60*) Wedge
Other: Nike Ignite T60 (15*) 3 Wood
Putter: Cameron Studio Stainless Newport 2 Putter
You'd probably give Tiger a starter set and he'd still finish in the top. His level of golf is amazing. I'm sure the other golfers on the PGA tour are now just thinking about finishing second.

Nike Sasquatch 460 Driver
I've been hearing a lot of buzz about the Nike Sasquatch 460 Driver and decided to hit a few golf balls with it to see how it feels. The very first thing you notice about this driver is the size of the head. The head is huge. It's the biggest driver I've ever seen. Standing over the golf ball with the club in your hand is somewhat distracting because of it's size. I suppose I'd get use to it if I played a few rounds of golf with it.
I was at Roger Dunn's Golf Shop in Santa Ana, CA and pulled out a demo Nike Sasquatch 460 Driver from one of the bins. I stepped into one of the golf swing booths and took a few practice swings. The club felt pretty good, but the golf shaft I had was a stiff and I typically play with extra stiff. I teed up a golf ball and made a nice smooth swing and the ball exploded of the face. I didn't have a launch monitor hooked up so I could tell how far it the golf ball carried. I hit a few golf balls with the Nike Sasquatch and it felt pretty solid, but I really had a hard time getting over the size of the head.
I didn't end up buying the golf club mainly because I'm still hitting my TaylorMade TP R7 Quad pretty good and because the club head was just too big for me. I know the Nike Sasquatch probably has a bigger sweet spot than my TaylorMade R7, but confidence over the golf ball is very important to me. I felt I'd be distracted by the size of the driver head.
I read some golf club reviews of the Nike Sasquatch 460 and it got mixed reviews. The biggest complaint I saw was the size of the head. The biggest praise was it's length and accuracy off the tee, but I also read a few reviews saying it wasn't a very accurate driver.
Is the Nike Sasquatch 460 Driver in your golf bag?
