Trevor Immelman won his 1st career PGA Major tour event last weekend by winning the 2008 Masters at Augusta National in Augusta, Georgia. Do you want to know what Trevor was carrying in his golf bag during the win?

Trevor played some solid golf on Sunday under extreme playing conditions with the wind gusting to 35 mph, but that came to an end when he reached the par 3 16th. He put his tee shot into the water and walked away with a double-bogey and only a 3-shot lead, but by then everyone else had faded and his 3-over 75 gave him a 3-shot victory. Tiger showed his golf mortality on the back nine by missing about 4 putts in the 6 to 8 foot range and added a 3-putt, but he still managed to shoot a par 72 and take second place. Brandt Snedeker played his heart out, but finished with a 5-over 77 and 3rd place. Steve Flesch faded on the back nine and shot a 79. Immelman took home $1,350,000 for the win.
Immelman was the man to beat from Day 1. He became the first champion in 24 years to win after being the first-round co-leader.

What's In Zack Johnson's Golf Bag at The Masters?
Zack Johnson held off a strong field on Sunday to take home the green jacket at the 2007 Masters in Augusta, Georgia. Do you want to know what he was carrying in his golf bag during his win?
Driver: Titleist Pro Titanium 905R 8.5°

LW: Titleist Vokey Design SM 60°
Putter: Seemore FGP

Zach's only win before winning The Masters was at the 2004 BellSouth Classic. Zach was always around the top of the leader board through all 4 days of the golf tournament. He had to contend with Tiger Woods, Phil Michelson, Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington, and others during his final round on Sunday. He showed great determination and confidence with his golf game all the way to the 72nd hole where he almost holed out his chip.
All he could do was sit a wait with Tiger Woods still on the course. Tiger had his chances to push it to sudden death, but he needed to birdie 2 of the last 3 holes. Tiger had a tough 12-foot right to left birdie putt on 16 that looked like it was going to fall, but it didn't. When Tiger dumped his approach shot on 17 into the front bunker it was over.
Zach Johnson finished +1 for the tournament and a 2-shot lead, which ties the tournament record for the highest finishing total in Masters history along side Jack Burke of the 1956 Masters. Zack will now be able to play in The Masters for the rest of his PGA career.

Tiger Almost Wins The Masters With His "B" Game
Did you get a chance to watch "The Masters" this weekend? Augusta was playing so hard... it was brutal at times. As the golf announcers said many times, there's a lot of carnage out on the course.
I was very impressed by Zack Johnson's play in the final round, but I was even more impressed with Tiger Wood's play. Even when he's playing with his "B" game he's still in contention. It's simply amazing that someone can not be on the top of their golf game and still compete in every golf tournament... especially in a major golf tournament like The Masters.
You got give credit to Zack Johnson though because he showed some great concentration and grittiness on the back nine. Tiger had his chance with a birdie on 16 to pull within 1 stroke, but it burned the top edge of the cup... and from watching on TV it looked like it was going fall in on the backside of the cup.
Tiger finished 17 and 18 with pars at +3 and in a tie for second with Retief Goosen and Rory Sabatini.
They interviewed Tiger after his round and you could tell he was disgusted with his play. He said he pretty much lost the tournament on 17 and 18 where he bogey both of them down the stretch in two of his rounds.
You know for sure that Tiger will be out for vengeance in the next few tournaments. He'll be very prepared and will take no prisoners. Watchout PGA Tour!

Tiger Woods Against Me In Golf
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play golf against Tiger Woods? Do you think you could handle the pressure of playing golf with the best player in the world?
I know most golfers have probably thought about this. I know I have. I think about how nervous I would be on the first tee... no make that first 3 or 4 holes. Since Tiger is a very personable guy, I think he would make me feel at east pretty quickly. The most important thing I would want is to be able to show off my best golf to Tiger and hope that he would occasionally say "nice shot!" I think about him giving me some pointers during our round of golf and seeing some immediate results in my golf swing.
Tiger would probably want to make the round interesting by making a little wager in a skins or other type of game. I would definitely want as many strokes as I could get from him and probably add on another 5 just for the Tiger factor.
Now I know most of us have thought about what it would be like to out drive Tiger Woods, but that's about as likely as me winning the Masters Golf Tournament. But think about what kind of golf story that would be... to tell every golfer you know that you out drove Tiger Woods. To me that would be the highlight of my golfing career.
Have you every thought about golfing against Tiger Woods? If so what was your round of golf like?
