Top 10 Hottest Golf Clubs Oct 2008

Here are the Top 10 Hottest Golf Clubs for the month of Oct 2008. These were the hottest golf clubs in demand during the month of October... There was only a little change in the top 10, but guess who is in the #1 spot?

1. Ping Eye 2 Iron set
2. Callaway Golf X-20 Iron Set
3. Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Wedge
4. TaylorMade Burner 460 Driver
5. TaylorMade r7 Iron set
6. Callaway Golf X-18 Iron Set
7. Ping G5 Driver
8. Ping G5 Iron set
9. TaylorMade RAC OS Iron set
10. Srixon Pro-100 Iron set

Unbelievable! The Ping Eye 2 iron set is still in the #1 position as the hottest golf club.

The hottest golf club for this month is the Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Wedge, which jumped from #5 to #3 this month. The TaylorMade r7 Iron set fell from the #3 spot down to #5. And just like last month, both Taylormade and Ping have 3 of their products in the top 10.

Just in case you missed it, here's my post of The Hottest Golf Clubs Sep 2008, which is how the top 10 clubs finished for the month of September 2008.

Those Ping Eye II's are a really popular set of irons. I've never played with them, but I just might have to.

What is it that makes the Ping Eye II's so popular? Are they for better for the high handicapp golfer or the lower handicapper?

The Ping Eye II's are geared more for the mid to high-handicap golfers. I believe the clubs have a thicker top-line with a slight offset, which is typical for the mid to high handicap iron sets.

From the golf reviews I've read, those Ping Eye II's are quite decent.
