There's not a whole lot I can say that hasn't been already said about Tiger losing his first major when holding the 54-hole lead. The flat-stick is what brought Tiger to his knees on Sunday when he shot a 3-over 75 with 33 putts. I believe he had 11 putts around the 10-foot range and he only made 1 of them.

You have to give a lot of credit to Y.E. Yang though. He held his own and played with a lot of confidence while matched up against Tiger in the final round on Sunday. The turning point was on 13 and 14 when Tiger missed and 8-footer for birdie and Y.E. made about an 8-footer for par. On 14 Y.E. chipped in from about 60 feet for an eagle and Tiger could only make birdie.

On 18, Tiger new he had to make birdie to have any chance of a sudden death with Y.E. Y.E. hit his approach shot first from 206 yards with a 3-hybrid and it was a career shot that ended up 8 feet from the hole. Tiger hit his approach into the left rough with his chip missing by 10-feet. Y.E. made his put for birdie and Tiger missed his putt for par... and Y.E. was the 2009 PGA Champion shooting a 2-under 70 and finishing up at 8-under, which was 3 ahead of 2nd place Tiger.

I think this loss is going to motivate Tiger even more and the players on the PGA tour better take the game to the next level... or they'll be playing for 2nd place every weekend.
